Running a business website or wordpress blog but unable to fetch search engines rankings . Tried doing everything about SEO and used all plugins or sources available . We have some reasons that why are you lagging behind in search engine rankings??
• No Keywords:

One reason could be that you are just writing and writing and not optimizing your keywords in the domain title , post title and even in the posts as well. Search engine rankings are decided by the keywords that match to your posts. For example if someone is looking for cars in India and your domain name has in india at the back and the keyword car has also been used in your post a lot many times you will get people landing there.
• No sitemap generated:
Since few years many companies have started hiring their own web designers and SEO’s inspite of outsourcing but sometimes their own employees become un capable of doing things. For getting to search engine it is very important for you to generate sitemap for your website. If you are on wordpress plugins can easily do this for you.
• Indexing is not one day game:
Initially getting indexed takes lots of time . Recently one of my blog posts were taking two –three days to get indexed but eventually this becomes ok when you start building inbound links to your website. Slowly and gradually post updates and wait for them to get indexed before you write next one.
• No blackhat or keyword Stuffing:
Do not just fill your posts with keywords. Keyword stuffing is black hat seo practice and search engine will ban you once you try so. Try and fill your posts with relevant content to your niche so that more and more people visit your website.
Some On page techniques to be used for getting better indexing:
• Title Tag Optimization: The title of the post is very important if you use your main keyword in the title tag this will give you an edge over other people who have not used it.
• H1,H2,H3 Tags optimization: One you know your main key phrase try to use it in h1,h2 and h2 tags this will also help you.
• Keyword Density: Try to have a keyword density of around 2% minimum . This means using the main keyword after every 150-200 words is good.
• Alt Tag Optimization: This is very essential and most of us forget to do this. Make sure you use the main keyword in alt tag with the images you add in your post.

Well this is not all ultimately there is one more thing that gives you an edge in the eyes of search engine that is known as Link Building. Building links naturally and slowly will build a very strong reputation in the eyes of search engine and you will get more and more results.
